Italy Digital Nomad Visa: Requirements
The following are the requirements to apply fo the Italy Digital Nomad Visa, which are well explained on art. 3 of Italian decree 29 February 2024
1- Annual income of at least three times the minimum level required for exemption from participation in healthcare costs in Italy. This number amounts to just under € 28,000/year.
2- Health insurance cover valid in Italy, for a year (which is the period allowed to reside in Italy with the Italy Digital Nomad Visa, which can be renewed).
3- Provide adequate supporting documentation of accomodation for a period of at least 1 year (duration of the Italy Digital Nomad Visa)
4- Proove past experience of at least 6 months as a Digital Nomad / Remote worker
5- A contract from an employer / collaboration contract to prove eligibility to the scheme.
NOTE: who carries out a highly qualified work activity with the use of technological tools capable of allowing them to work remotely, both as a worker self-employed or as a collaborator or employee of a company even if not resident in Italy
6- Criminal Record Certificate, prooving no criminal record (not even with a non-definitive sentence) within the last five years.
